A bus leaves Enniskillen at 9:47 and arrives in Omagh at 11:05. How long is the journey?
Transfer-test style, five options, one answer. This is how every lesson feels.
How it works
Everything runs through Google Calendar, so you choose a time that suits your family and the rest happens automatically.
Open the booking calendar and choose any free one-hour slot. You only see times that are genuinely available.
Pay securely by card, Apple Pay or Google Pay when you book. Your lesson is confirmed the moment you pay.
A confirmation email arrives straight away with the date, time and your Google Meet link, plus a reminder before the lesson.
Your child joins from a laptop or tablet. Afterwards you get a short note on what we covered and what to practise.
The lesson is added to your calendar automatically. To cancel, use the link in your confirmation email, and get in touch at least 24 hours before so your lesson can be moved or refunded.
Know the test
Most grammar schools in Northern Ireland use the SEAG Entrance Assessment to decide Year 8 places. Children sit it in P7, on two Saturdays in November.
Both papers have the same format: a short practice section, then a one-hour main test of English and maths questions, all multiple choice and based on the Key Stage 2 curriculum. Lessons here focus on the maths half, with plenty of practice in that exact format.
Maths That Clicks is an independent tutor and is not connected to SEAG or GL Assessment. For official dates and registration, visit seagni.co.uk.

That's roughly how long each question gets: 56 questions in an hour. Speed and accuracy both matter, so every lesson includes timed practice.
What we cover
Lessons follow the Northern Ireland Key Stage 2 maths curriculum, the same content the transfer test is based on. We start where your child is and fill the gaps that matter most.
Inside a lesson
Lessons use a shared online whiteboard, so your child can write working out and see each step. They're paced so that one idea properly sinks in before practice begins.
Warm-up. Quick-fire mental maths to get going.
Learn one topic. Explained step by step, with as many examples as it takes.
Practise together. Transfer-test style questions, talking through the method.
Beat the clock. A short timed set to build speed and confidence.
Recap. What clicked today, plus a few questions to try before next time.
Your tutor
I'm a secondary school student in Northern Ireland, and maths has always been my favourite subject. I'm not long out of primary school myself, so I remember exactly which explanations made things click for me and which ones didn't.
My lessons are patient, upbeat and practical. Wrong answers are welcome, because they show us exactly what to work on next. My goal is for your child to walk into the transfer test feeling ready.
